Garden Journal show-and-tell

Do you keep a garden diary? Do you keep garden records?  On Saturday Sept 21 our “garden class” will be a show-and-tell.

Bring your garden journal — whether yours is electronic, an elegantly bound book, or jumbled scraps of paper. Get inspired by what others do, and share what works for you.

Keeping garden records can be important to help you remember details such as the name of that really awesome tomato, or where you are in crop rotations.  Recordkeeping becomes essential when you are saving seeds.  But recordkeeping can also help you in your journey toward becoming a better gardener.

On Sept 20 we’ll discuss which records are most useful and important, plus planning for the coming Cool Season.

Environmental Change-Makers’ garden booklets and vegetable crop rotation wheel will be available for purchase. Hopefully by then our latest title “Food from a Flowerpot” will be ready!
